i am helping my buddy build up his 300ex so he can race it this year we have got him a-arms, shocks, axle, tires, pro tappers (cr low), nerfs, k&n, and a supertrap ids2 w/header and im not sure where to start the jetting we will be getting a 330 kit as soon as he saves some more $$$$ any suggestions would be great

i have a 300ex i have 125 main in mine with full pipe and k a n filter with no lid we are about 1174 ft above sea level here

with the stuff in my sig i go 1clip down, 135 main (may be rich hasnt been warm yet stock is 122) not quite sure on the turns on the pilot but its still the stock jet. prolly 2 turns out

I would try a 40 pilot jet and start at probably a 138 and work your way down for the main jet. I think I going to try a 42 pilot in my 330 to see if it starts better. It used to start without the choke when it was stock and now it needs it. I have a 132 in mine and seems to run good but I want to see if I can go up a size or two just to try it.
