i have a 03 400ex and i was going to buy some a arms any recomendations on what kind to get..i want +2 or +3 also if i get +3 will i have to get different rims i have stock ones... any info will help thanks

I like the Viper suspension components. They make +2 and +3 long travel setups. I would go with the +3 long travel for shock adjustability and you will more than likely have to get 4:1 offset front rims with a +3 setup.
