250r hood on 300ex

how easy is it to do the swith, what does it require, and will the headlight fit a stock style hood

please dont tell me to do a search, really pressed for time right now!

first of all i highly doubt you dont have a minute to search for this but here it goes, again


the stock light fits the stock 250r hood with longer bolts and washersits really easy to do. first of all you need to remove the stock hood then drill 2 holes near the stock holes on 2 little tabs for the 250r hood to mount to, then the top is a little different. ive seen the top done 2 ways:
1. cut the tank plastic and drill 2 holes in the front fenders at the top for the hood to mount to
2. bolt the 250r hood to the tank plastic

in my opinion the #2 looks like a hackjob, i used #1, so did pvt. maggot if uve ever seen his, heres mine:

Hey 300exPat! Don't forget little old me!!! :p Ya, i got my instructions from 300exPat (thanks again by the way), and i think him, me, and pvt. maggot did it all the same way. It is really not difficult. There has been a ton of posts about this, so try a search next time. ;)

Thats it... I am doing it to my 93. Since they are all 1 color. As opposed to the newer ex's having 2 tone. I am going to the local decal shop and geting everything that is normally black in this carbon fiber looking vinal

I did it first :p I used a Fibe Industries Hood..I used the stock 250r hood first..thens switched cuz I didn't like it...hah..
