the title says it... 4 hour ATV only team race at Goldendale, WA
tell your friends & riding buddies!!!

after the success of last year's event(over 75 teams & 200 riders!!!) the group at over the bars gang has decided to have 2 this year: one at the eddieville motorsports facility february 27th and one at the starvation ridge GP course on may 1st.
it will be the same format as last years: tag team style race, where only one team member is on course at a time. they are offering a new class this year: ironman... one rider, one quad, four hours.... for those that dare!

classes:
Pro (payout) (2 rider team, max 2 quads)
expert (2 rider team, max 2 quads)
amature (4 rider team, max 4 quads)
beginner (4 rider team, max 4 quads)
women (4 rider team, max 4 quads)
utility (4 rider team, max 4 quads)
ironman ... 1 rider, one quad...

----COST-----
gate $5/person
camping: free
practice2/26/05 : $20 mx track only
pro ???
ironman: $40 ??
all other classes: $30/rider

-----MACHINE/RIDER REQUIREMENTS----
MACHINE:
no louder than 99db exhuast
tether kill switch
recommended: nerfs

RIDER:
helmet, boots, gloves, goggles, pants and long sleeve shirt.
also recommended- chest protector, hydration pack

there will be a pit area for the teams and their quads, teams can set up an awning, keep tools, fuel, spares, etc. there.

the eddieville track is an excellent mix of cross country and MX, most of the track is very wide... it has obstacle that will challenge both beginners & advanced riders alike. last fall the club took time to really smooth out the track in most sections, hopefully it's still in great shape for this event.

Come on AndreS you can do it! j/k
I remember the first team race all to well. There's no way I would want to do an ironman.

i could probably do it with a few breaks in the middle to shake out the arm pump, refresh myself & refuel... but i'd need a chauffer on the way home...
i did nine laps last year(missed the cutoff for a 10th by seconds), my brother did four laps.... and i'm sure i could have made at least five in the time he was out.
