durablue 250r axle on 400ex

can a durablue 250r axle work on a 400ex?
anyone try this?

i used a stock 400ex axle on my 88 250r before but i think i used my durablue hubs

my buddy has one and i'm not sure if i should bother tearing it apart to try it if someone else already has

You will have to use 250r hubs, cause the splines are different. I think the 400 had 24 or 25 and the 250r has 25 or 26. Eaither way I know one has one more than the other.
