I will remain on the 2st for at least another year. I choose this quad because of the Leg frame and the t-pin front end, along with a high hp to weight ratio.

ill be on the old R again this season. couldnt sell it for what i wanted and i wont drop it off for next to nothing. i like it too much. after this season ill be purchasing a 450 so i can have both Rs:D

This is what i'll be racing mx 450r. My motor is going to be done fairly shortly and all my suspension is going to be worked bye ecatv to get it working to the best of their ability. I'll have a picture when the winter rebuild is finished!

I dont know what I am going to race. I have a very odd delima. I had an 04 400ex I was going to race with a few functinal mods, shocks beadlocks, ect. Then I got a good deal on an 03 Z400 with a few mods as well. Then I traded my 04 400ex for my old 04 YFZ450. The YFZ need some minor work and some shocks. So I can not decide what to race. The YFZ of the Z400 but one has to go because I cant afford to have both sitting around. I will post a pic of the YFZ minus the front beadlocks. It looks sick right now but I will baby it back to shape!

Also the 400EX shocks are the same length as the YFZ shocks. Will the 400ex elkas work on the YFZ for a race or two with 4-1 offset wheels? Thanks, Josh

Do you really need to ask what I'm going to be racing?

I'll be on my 04 YZF 450. I feel its the best bike out there for the stock class. The only bad thing I can think of on it is were they put the gas shut off at.

I just love the bike and I'm not cutting down the honda but I think for had racing the Yamaha works better. The honda is far better for playing around on.

I'll just be rideing my 4yr old 400ex, laeger +1 long travel front end with Elka shocks- its been pretty dependable for me so why switch- also I have probably close to $9200 in the damn thing.

I chose my Yfz because 2 thing. one at the time no Honda. two it fits me well and its a blast to race D6 xc with it. This is from round one at Dutchman second place in open C class

I sold my 400EX and have raced my all-stock 87 250R in five mud and snow scrambles and one D6 harescramble so far this year. As soon as my Houser/PEP/ESR 250R is finished, it will be my primary quad for all D6, WNYOA, and GNCC races.

Im too poor to buy anything else, my 400 is already worth twice as much as my truck. I truely dont think Id be faster on a 450r, unless it had suspension better than my 400's elkas.

i'm on the blaster. why a blaster? i like the sport class at the gncc's and got tired of a 300ex, and a blaster seemed to be the only other real competitve quad in the class. here it is
