Should i do it?

Ok, i've decided to keep my 300 now, since i love it, and it is still a new quad, and it serves me well. But, my buddy has one also, and is getting his dads 400, so my question is this. He has an HMF s/o on his, and wants me to buy it. He's had it for about a year, and will include a K&N with outerwears, and jet kit for $200. You guys think i should go for it? I have a stock exhaust on my 300 now. Thanks!

Depends on how used the filter is of course, and what kind of shape the pipe is in.

But yeah, it sounds like a good deal to me.

wouldnt hurt to try and jew him down a little bit since he is your friend:devil: but yea id def. jump on that for the 300. that stock exhaust is pretty lame. fromt what ive seen and read the hmf is a great pipe and will really pep your 300 up.

Ya, i had him down to 150, and he said he'd go for it, but his dad said he couldn't sell it for anything under 200. I even offered 175. This thing has low hours, he doesn't ride much, maybe 25 hours on it, and the filter and jets. Its pc'd red too.

id get him down to at least 175. Mine new was around 190. :ermm:

He payed 200, plus a 30 dollar pc fee for it, he has the recipts. Plus, the K&N, jet kit, and outerwears, with shipping totalled to another 100, so he payed 330 for it all, when he got it last january. He said he'd give me the pipe, full jet kit, and K&N w/outerwears for 200. I still said 175, maybe i can work on him some more. :devil:

Ya, but... He never, i repeat never rides. I live about a half block away from town, so i ride to the edge, and go ride in the country, on the roads, every now and then. He lives in the middle of town, and just turned 16 bout 2 months ago, so he just started riding more. It only has about 20 to 30 hours on it, i didn' t think that was too bad for a year old. And it is in perfect condition too, no scratches, dents, blemishes, nothing.
