i am gonna get nerfs soon and want your guys opinions. i like propegs but not the price. i would be satified with regular nerfs but would want to know if the propegs are worth the extra money. i ride mainly trails but am gonna try some gncc and play on a few mx tracks as well.

Yes they are definitely worth it. You dont really notice it until you go back to something with stock pegs, and then your like holy crap I cant believe I used to ride on these!!!

if i get propegs i am gonna get the new style with heelgaurds or use the stock ones with standard nerfs. i will most likely end up with propegs.

I like one of two setups

1- Xfactor propegs .... Other propegs are kind of skinney, but Xfactors are fat...I have them on my YFZ

2-IMS Footpegs with AC Nerfs...got this on the 250x...

if you go with standard then you can alway s replace the pegs when they wear down

the pegs are replaceable on x-factor pro pegs, also they are stainless steel so they last longer not aluminum like on most pro pegs ;)

Definatly get pro pegs with heelgaurds. The same axact thing happened to me in that pic but I was wearing shorts and shoes and it happened on blacktop. I had to wait for my knee to choke out my 250 to to stop it because I couldn't get to the brakes. I couldn't walk on my foot or bend my knee for about a month. So definatly get the heelgaurds or atleast the pro pegs.

I'm still trying to find some kind of heelgaurds to put on my 300. Almost the same thing happend to me about a year ago. The tire tore the skin off the back of my leg, then the brake rotor sliced it up even worse. So yeah, if anyone knows how to get heelgaurds onto a 300, lemme know.
