400ex a-arms fit a 250r?

Will 400ex a-arms fit a 89 250r? are they as strong?

Looking to either powdercoat my existing 250r arms or buy some 400ex arms as they are very reasonable.

dont think they will. even if the did bolt to the frame, they are a little different and the 400ex arms would throw off the 250r spindle geometry so you wouln then need to buy 400ex spindles and say bye bye twin piston calipers
