Ok , call me stupid (:huh ) but i cant really remeber how the whole sprocket thingy goes? the more teeth the back one has the faster it goes? I think and the smaller the front one is the quicker it raps out but it doesnt go as fast top speed? help debating what sprokets to use but i guess i got to know the basics first!!!
Thanx

Front sprocket: More teeth = more top speed
Less Teeth = More acceleration

Back Sprocket: More Teeth = More accleration
Less Teeth = More top speed

Remember this higher the gear ratio the faster it accelerates/revs out.

To calculate the gear ratio, take the rear sprocket and divide it by the front sprocket.

Stock gearing: Rear 38T - Front 15T
38/15= 2.53 gear ratio.

it depends on what kinda ridin ya do. if u want higher top speed (with the slower bottom end) go wit one more tooth on the back or up to a 16 on front, if i recall. if u want more low end go down to a 14 on front( with the loss of top end). its all up to what u ride the most. hope thats of a help to you
