Can anybody tell me what the compression ratio is on a 89 Kawasaki Bayou KLF300C 4x4? I have it apart right now and I would like to make it run a little better. It's getting a .020" oversized weisco piston. Will this raise the compression any or will it leave it at stock? I was thinking about getting the cylinder decked when I have it bored, I just need to know how much to have shaved off.
How much compression do most atvs run? I think my Suzuki 230S probably runs something fairly high but I'm not sure what it's ratio is either.
