Help!?!?

I am about to finalize my trade for a 250R.

I need to get ahold of a carb for stock motor. I hear just a Stock 34mm Carb will do fine. How do I get my hands on one? I need to do quick. Can anyone help? Can anyone give me a few websites to Purchase a Carb. Thanks.

Also, I do alot of woods riding. For a 250R, getting the most outa low end is good. What can I do other than Gearing change do to help me get a goods wood riding motor?

Thank You Again!

Mike.

You can try your local dealer, or perhaps www.servicehonda.com You'll probably have to call them, because their website will list individual components and prices, but won't give you a price for the entire assembly.

A brand new stock 250r carb is going to expensive. Believe it or not, it's actually going to be more expensive than a high-performance aftermarket carb.

I had a 88 250r, cylinder was stock bore and stock porting. I ran a Paul Turner mid range and fat boy silencer. For a carb I ran a 36mm and it brought my engine to life. My bike ran good with the 34mm carb but the 36mm gave it a little more bottom end and a huge gain in the mid range. I ran a stock 94 cr125 carb there 36mm and was already jetted correctly for my engine pipe combo. The 94 cr carb was cheaper than a 88 34mm stock r carb from Honda of Troy, In 95 the 36mm cr carb was around $130 plus shipping. Plus the 94 36mm carb had the dual over flow hose to help with bogging.
