yes, it is. I'm not sure how you mount the coil on the trx, I put mine on my atc250r. Its easy to stall the first few times riding and you can't use lights, but thats not a issue for me either. Overall, it revs so fast and is much more resonsive.

Yep it will work just fine, but you will also need the CR coil as well as the stator, flywheel and cdi. You will need to hook them up to a kill switch, pretty much thats all! Works awesome, a definate must for big bores!!

You cant run a light with the cr250 ignition. I think some guy on here rigged something up so he could, but I know ESR told me I couldn't.

actaully ricky stator sells a stator where you can use lights, not much wattage, but enough for a 55w bulb, so I'm told. I'm not interested in lights with my trike and the cr igntion, so I never called about it.

You need the cdi and coil with the spark plug boot. You would also need the coil bracket to mount it. The stator has wire harness on it no other wiring needed. Just make sure you get all the ignition parts for the same year.

I would just go get everything from ESR, he sells the whole kit for like 475 or something like that.

Thats what i plan to do when my stock ignition takes a puke!
