walsh is deffinatley the sweetest looking stuff out there...has a real trick, clean look to it.

of course i dont believe in all that crap but if i did and was pooping money i would buy walsh just for the attention to detail:devil:

On the Phoenix stadium race he ran LSRs new generation Dc4s and a the new LSR link, so im pretty sure he and Mark are just trying to find out what works the best right now.

o0o...well with his win sunday i think he will proally stick with the walsh

Zwanter
02-09-2005, 07:05 PM
i hope not..........not because i dont like walsh he's just like the only person left in the pro class using the t pin and i'd hate to see such a great front end disappear.

TCracin440ex
02-09-2005, 07:47 PM
why dont you like walsh..if his frontend is as good as a t-pinn then why not run it...

coryatver
02-09-2005, 08:06 PM
why is it called the t pin?

Zwanter
02-10-2005, 04:38 PM
not because i dont like walsh he's just like the only person left in the pro class using the t pin

does that say i dont like walsh? no. matter of fact i love walsh i would just hate to not see the tpin in the pro class any longer. if i ever get enough money saved up i'm probably going to get a walsh front end. it's just the tpin is a classic

TCracin440ex
02-10-2005, 04:46 PM
dude but the tpinn frontend really aint needed these days...they are posta be a bind free....and the a-arms these days dont bind because of the type of balljoints used

thumpi450r, it looks like you are running stock front brake lines. how did you stretch those out to fit extended a-arms?

ThumPIN_450R
02-11-2005, 08:52 PM
drtthrottle i really didn't do any thing to the lines there is way more than enough slack in them to run extended arms I did have to bend the hard line at the very end to get it around the spindle but that's about it if you don't have a T-pin you won't even have to do that the line will run right in between the ball/heim joints

call me slow, but what rule change are you talking about

Hawk III
02-14-2005, 06:07 AM
the rule he is talking about is pro-production. most of the top frame builders have quit building frames so they have focused more on the a-arms, swing arms and steering stems for the new models.

I was at Lonestar the other day talking to Dan, and they have been selling YFZ frames like crazy, and they had a couple TRXs getting jigged up as we spoke, so people still buy frames.

I'm not a big lone star fan but if honda can't warantee me a new frame i may need to look into getting one of those frames my stock frame has more welds on it than my demolition derby car trying to keep it patched together long enough for me too buy or make a gusset kit for it

All the pics Ive seen of St. Louis he's riding the T-pin bike. Hes also tried 90% of the arms on the market so I kinda doubt he's gonna stick with Walsh. Since he's a 6 time GNC champ on Laegers products I kinda doubt he's gonna stray far.

Thumpin_450.... You have a rear shock on your bike? If not thats a big reason why the frame keeps breaking, the stocker wont hold up to big air.

That is a walsh front end. I raced there. He was about four trailers over. He had three bikes there. He raced the one with Walsh components. I have a walsh front end with pep shocks. I walked up to his bike in pre staging and pushed on his front end to see how stiff it was. He was running thick crosssovers on his shocks to get the ride height low and not dip into the corners. Not trying to argue just telling you what I know.

i have a derisi revalve with link on it so it's close enough having a shock until i get up enough cash for a holz rear end with a pep shock

But, at the Texas GNC, Farr had 3 bikes there. One had DC-4, one had Laeger T-pin, and the one he raced had Walsh....

i call bs on that...i just think he has 3 separate bikes so he wont reset up each bike for each different a-arms and junk....

a lsr bike, laeger bike, and walsh bike...i really dont care what hes gettin paid to run a certain brand....i kno honda is payin him either way
