Alright everyone here is a little action from the real everyday racers. First were going to take a look at the Pro Am Unlimited. As you can see from this angle up and coming rider Sage Baker now getting some help from the guys at ALBA got the hole shot in the main and is pulling everyone up the hill. You can see Darrell Patton #35 right in the middle of the pack. Dana Creech did not run the Main on Sunday after winning his Qualifier on Saturday.?

As Sage comes back around towards the finish he has a descent lead over second place rider Danny Ragan followed by Stewart.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 08:43 AM
Here you see Skyler Stewart putting the pressure on Ragan for second place.

Your leader Sage Baker coming down from the Taladega turn. You can see how wet the track was.

As Stweart chases the leader #98 Ragon has moved into third followed by Patton who got around Ragan for fourth.

WestCoast Editor

In the end Sage held on for the win and the overall for the day.

02-08-2005, 09:12 AM
After a second in his qualifier on Saturday #98 John Ragon takes a comfortable third.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:16 AM
Danny Ragan #5 battled for the fourth spot.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:19 AM
The only real battle was for fourth. Darrell Patton from Golden West Cylcle on his Trx450 took second on saturday but with the conditions on sunday he battled with Ragan but could only grab the fifth spot, But with his second on saturday he took third overall.

For the Production Pro-Am #98 John Ragon was back at it. This time he pulls the holeshot followed very close by Skyler Stewart.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:31 AM
Chad Lohr #1 got around Stewart for second but didn't stay there long. As they came back through Ragon was still out front with Stewart chasing followed by Lohr. Holding down the fourth spot was Sage Baker.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:38 AM
At the end Ragon holds on for the win.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:39 AM
Stewart takes what looks like an exhausting second.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:41 AM
The #85 machine moves into the third spot after a good battle at the end getting around Baker and Lohr.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:42 AM
#1 Lohr after dropping to fifth gets back around Baker for the fourth spot.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:44 AM
Finishing in the fifth spot was Sage Baker. If you look close you will see that there is a number plate between the nose and bumper. Sage was just one of the riders who tried to block the mud after seeing a lot of riders overheating from the mud caked on the radiator.

Next up is the Womens a class. I Talked to Angela Moore earlier in the day about hers plan this year. She simply said she wants the #1 plate back. Heather Byrd got the holeshot.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 09:56 AM
But Moore was right on her tail.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:00 AM
Michelle Reiser, whom everyone knows I think?(Maxxis Tire Model) was running in the third spot.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:02 AM
Alex Kirchner was in the fourth spot

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:12 AM
Rounding out the top five was Traci Cecco ( pronounced Checko). She rides for Alba Action out on the other coast in the GNCC. She came out here to give the MX stuff a try.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:15 AM
Angela continued to put the pressure on Byrd.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:22 AM
Traci Cecco now held onto the fourth spot Saturday but sunday had a great battle with Kirchner on the last lap but just couldn't hold on and finished fifth.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:25 AM
Meanwhile out front Angela put the moves on Byrd and is now out front. Byrd actually dropped back a coulple spots when she stalled her quad. Angela takes advantage and puts as much distance between the two.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:27 AM
Heather Byrd battles back up to second but can't catch Angela in time.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:30 AM
Julie Russell was running back in the seventh spot. This was her first A class race. She was a little out motored on her 250r, but She hung in there and never gave up!

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:36 AM
Taking the win was Angela Moore. On sunday she got the holeshot and never looked back, sealing her number one spot for the weekend.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:38 AM
Byrd finishing in the second spot just could not catch Moore on sunday.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:40 AM
Michelle finished in the third spot where she ran all weekend with not much challenge from anyone.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:43 AM
This was the other battle back in fourth. Traci held on untill the last lap when Kirchner forced her way by, taking the fourth spot for the weekend to.

The Womens B/C class was almost full with 17 riders Misti Hues tok the holeshot and was gone. She won both motos with ease.

This class is getting very competitive these ladies ride pretty hard.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:50 AM
Cindi Hart on the Suzuki was looking good after being hurt last year.

WestCoast Editor
02-08-2005, 10:56 AM
And heres our own Brittany Bloodworth racing a slightly out dated 400ex against the new YFZ's and TRX450's. She rides hard no mater what. She finished sixth Saturday unfortunately Sunday she broke her chain on the first lap. She had Problems last year to after a bad crash in practice. I think she needs a new Mechanic, oh wait that's me! Never mind...

Those are some excellent photos. Great job. I especially like the one of Ellis Anderson with only one tire on the ground. That was perfect timing. ;)
