quad tech hood on maier plastics, install??

i have the maier race cut plastics, i tried to install the quadtech hood with raised nose but it was too long for the plastics.. is ther another hood i need to install before the quad tech?? the maier plastics dont have a hood..

I put a dixo hood on ym 250r... wich is the same as quad tech. I just cut out a big hole in the Maier race hood, and it comes with 4 hings to hold it on, wich they do a good job, and i just drilled 4 holes, cuz the hood is for a 400ex and not a 250r.... dixo doesnt make 250r hoods, but they make 400ex, and they are way cheaper... I put mine on and it looke sweet. yea it hangs over a big, but its not 250r, and it looks good
