got this e-mail this morning from some friends in Alaska..

Caption read:

We had some friends from Barrow pass through and stay with us the other evening. When they got up the next morning, there was a cow moose and two calves in the yard so they got out their camera. Sagan, our dog, thought he’d try to move the moose off of his yard, and the cow moose thought differently. We didn’t have moose in Barrow, but it looks like he’s developing a healthy respect for them.
