buy it now of only $315. how does it compare to the E series or other exhausts? And I know curtis sparks is the best but this is like $200 cheaper!

are you talking bout the full system if so you can't go wrong, the e series doesn't even hold a candle to the quality of the r-4 , the r-4 is an excellent exhaust, i've ran several different exhuast and right now i'm running an r-4 and have been happy with it since day one, i've ran it for two seasons and have yet to have any problems with it, i had an e series at one time and the sucker broke left and right

I personally never liked the sound of the R4 on a 400ex. It was just a slip on though, so I'd imagine it sounds different. To me it was just obnoxiously loud and if I remember correctly the E-series won the 400ex pipe shootout in dirtwheels. That is a good price for a full exhaust though, and its pretty much your preference on pipe, no one on here can tell you what pipe is the best cause everytime you turn around there is a new pipe company on the market. But to answer your question yeah thats a good deal for it, if it is the full system.

it is the full system. he's sold others on ebay. like i said buy it now of $315. What is the difference between the E-series and the R4? The E series is listed more expensive on some web sites.

the e series is an oval canister, and is tuned by discs and loves to crack at the mounts, be your best bet to stay away

the R4 IMO is the best exhaust for the 400ex....but they stopped making it because another company cried about it was the same as there model but hey thats my opinion and i think they really awesome

:o ummm no they stopped making the r-4 cause it was too loud and they weren't letting them run in any of the gncc races, this is coming straight from white bros cause i talked to them about it back in the summer

i have an R4 and my cousin has an E-Series. Both he and I prefer the R4. It has a lot better (deeper) sound. And lets people know you mean business comeing behind them on the trail, and you can take the spark arrester in like 1 minute for racing.

my friend has the R4 on his Z and its a really nice pipe, he has yet to have ANY problems with it. It is quite loud. I had an E-series on my 250x, but i didnt have any problems with it, I thought it was decent. I had a different mount on mine however, mine was a metal band that went around the pipe instead of the welded tab. I bet you could buy that metal band from WB and that would fix alot of problems that ppl are having with them..

neways the R4 is a really deep throaty sounds and from afar it sounds real mean...not that HMF isnt or Sparks but this exhaust i think is excellent in power gains and sound
