is i safe to run some VP in my stock compression engine

If you have a stock engine, your best bet would be to run pump gas(93). In stock engines, you sometimes get more power just to run the pump gas. So unless you go with a higher compression, I would stick with pump.

It would be a waste of money. If anything it would make it harder to start. The higher octane gas combusts at a higher temperature, this is why it is good for high compression engines, it will keep the engine cooler and eliminate detonation. No need for it on a stock engine. I guess if you really wanted to though you could.....
