I am getting an HMF slip on shorty for my 300ex. I will also be running a K&N with pre filter and no airbox lid. What is a good plae to start on main jets and needle and air adjustment? is there anything else i should change. Later on i will be getting a White brothers header if that matters

You can probably go a couple sizes up from stock. I would just get a few around there and try them and check the plug.
