my chevy doesnt leak oil, nor do the valves rattle, and by cranks hard, does that mean that they put a high CA battery in them from the factory or something?

that truck was a concept truck built by ford (obviously) when they were trying to develop a new lightning. it is called the lightning rod and has a 5.4l supercharged v8 producing around 500hp. i think that would stomp the ol chevy "SS"R. as far as i know it is the only one ever produced.

That pretty much describes they chevy i own right now..it takes forever for it to warm up, a noisy lifter, and it just stated leaking oil on the back side of the intake manifold.

Here is the concept Ford Lighting for the new body style, I think it looks sweet and if its produced it is supposed to have a toned down Ford GT motor that will put out around 500hp and 500 torque.

actually, it is presumably the same motor, with both pushing out 499 hp,.. just for legal matters. the concept lightning had a high density air charge system that basically shot air from the AC (i believe) into the intake, increasing hp by about 50 for around 30 seconds, but i have heard the production models will be limited to the standard 499 hp lol. darn :blah: i imagine it will be lighter than the srt-10 and the delayed release can only be a result of ford trying to put dodge back in their place:macho

Ya you are probably right, I only vaguely looked into the truck. Have you heard about that button inside that will give it that instant 50 hp gain and it recharges like you said, I think they are calling it a Supercooler or somethin that does that. But ya when that truck comes out it will put a hurting on that ram srt10.

Ya that hp for 30 seconds is what i am talkin about. I have heard its called the Supercooler like I said, i could be wrong but that is one awesome modification.

Chevy aint got the balls if you want power go Ford or the srt10 from Dodge. I mean come on the days of 454's 302's and 427's they're gone for chevy, they might just as well have stuck to the cavalier. I was a Chevy fan for years but what the hell the c6 zo6 is the only good thing gm has come up with in almost 30yrs.
In 95 I drove a 68 firebird it kicked ***.
In 96 a cavalier yeah that move sucked.
In 97 a s10 zr2 piece of crap.
so I ask what can Chev build for under 60 grand that is worth owning.

Chevy all the way! fords suck! my dad has a red 1994 chevy 2500 with side runners and all and runs like a rock! and my dad has a crappy ford windstar and he hates it it runs like hell and its only a 2003 and its has about 4 repairs but now my dads looking for a chevey 2500 2003 model without the tilted lights in the front u no wat i mean chevy ppl but in the past my dad has had some kick ***** fords that could be very valuable today but he had to sell it bc there wasnt enough room 4 me my mom and my three brothers and he had a black ford. i saw in pics but i wasnt born yet so i didnt see it but all i got to say is ford use to have nice trucks that were powerful and nice looking but i think all the trucks r turning less and less rugged and there leaning too torwards the future:ermm: its a shame i mean most of the full sized trucks r too small to put a quad into it!:mad:
