250r or 450r

I have ridden very skilled rider on a kfx 400 and im racing this year and i am going to buy a 450r but a co-worker has a 1986 250r with about 7 grand of supension and other stuff into for sale. he only wants 3250. i have ridden a 450r and loved but have no idea what a 250r is like. Is it worth the money to buy the 250r and keep the kfx or just go for the 450r??

I guess it all depends on what you want. I mean if you race pro production dont you have to have a quad that is in production right now?

if the 250r runs good and has a good chassis..id go for that and keep the kfx.


you can always get a 450r later on.

i think it would be cool to have a 2-stroke and 4-stroke at the same time.

hey i got a 250r and my bro has a 450r.........and i have to say go for the 250r......there light...good handling...and easy to work on..........so yea 250r all the way!
