Riding Music

Does anyone listen to music whille they ride? i think this summer i am going to give it a try... what do you listen to and what kind of player do you use...


i got on ebay and bought a mini disk player, one because its was cheep and two for the amount of songs you can fit on it...

anyhow i want to come up with some good, fast music to ride to... here is what i have so far..


old metllica
old Slipknot
sum 41 chuck
and like 2 ICP songs....

i use a mp3 player i picked up for dirt cheap on the clearence rack at staples... 40 bux, 256 megs, can fit about 20-30 songs on it, and is usually all i need for riding..

and what is usually found on that mp3 player is kottonmouth kings... or any other suburban noize records artists..

If you want hardcore riding music try out some Killswitch Engaged... they have been on the last three heuvous videos also Chimiara, slayer, fear factory, old school metallica, anything heavy... fast and hardcore...

I tried to listen to music a while back while riding, but the problem was, that it's so hard to hear with a pipe. I used the earbuds because they were the only thing that would fit under my helmet. What does everyone else use?

I went to wal-mart picked myself up a RCA Lyra mp3 player, eats batterys like no tomorrow, but hell it was only 50 bucks so cant complain much :D i was running my fmf shorty and when i had the headphones loud, i didnt have a problem at all hearing

I have many atreyu, cradle of filth, dying fetus, kill switch engage, metallica, ozzy/black sabbath, as i lay dying and some rap, i cant really ride to rap though

I dont listen to music while I ride just because I like to be able to hear what is around me .

As far as what I like in terms of music , I'm really liking the sounds of the band Cauterize now . Disturbed is always good , Lost Prophets , Linkin Park .

i recently started listening when i ride. i got these headphones that fit perfectly in my helmet and i picked up a cheap mp3 player for 50 bucks


i listen to Ill Nino and a little of Linken park
