I have been looking into getting my 400ex Frame powdercoated, possibly translucent red or something. What's everyone paying for entire frame/chassis PCing? Need to have a little idea of how much $$$ I need to set aside. Thanks.

i dont know about trans but i had mine pc'ed charcole ( frame, sub, arms, mounts)

for 125! and they did a great job. called Spray Maine

did you have to take everything apart of did you just have them do it?
if you did it how hard is it to take apart?

I paid $250 for my frame, suspension, and crankcase covers. Had to have the quad disassembled before they pc'd.

i broke it down by myself... its not hard.. jsut label bolts. and parts..

and if u have a buddy with the same bike it makes it alot easier when u are re running the wires

I paid $250 for mine to get pcd translucent red for the frame, mounts and swingarm. that included sandblasting and all the prepping. I had to disasemble it before i took it there. it turned out awesome!
