crf450 project

i would like to know some things about putting a 450 motor into my 400ex frame. first off has anyone completed this job befor and could give me some tips. my bigest problem is... i live in canada. j/k no really i do but i am haveing a hard time getting my hands on the motor itself i heard to order one from honda you have to have a crf 450 and everyone els i talk to that has got one says they just fell into it. so some help would be nice . and if ya know of one handy give me some prices thanks

how much would just the motor/tranny cost?!? is the cr450f motor have an electric start? and how good is 450 motor? i hear its not as good as the yz426 motor...

who is we can get the motor? i dont have a small budget. but i dont wanna spend like 15 grand. i have not heard bad things about the crf 450 motor just the bike itself. and i wont ride a yamaha so thats why the 426 is out the quston. i am fatihfull to my brand.

i read in junes dirtwheels that honda said the crf motor is not good in an atv. why is that?
