The tire is probably capable of much more than you would ever actually want to run. I would imagine you could run as much as 20psi without blowing the tire, but 20psi is WAY too stiff for any type of riding.

If they are working well with 5lbs in them, keep 5lbs in them. I would reccomend that you just try different air pressures until you find the one thats best for you and the kind of riding your doing.

I wouldn't go any lower than about 3psi. Maybe as low as 2psi in the sand, if you're not jumping and no big rocks.

I run 4psi in my RazrII's and i race crosscountry. I drop them down to 3psi if its muddy!

i have been running 8-10 (can't really tell, I have to get a low pressure gauge) those are in the stock tires

I dont agree with dropping the pressure for mud especially on a sport quad, I dont think the little bit of traction gained is worth the loss in ground clearance. that is usually what stops you is when the frame drags and the tires can no longer bite. JMO though.

oh thats what i forgot to mention! In a muddy race I jack my quad up 2 inches, both frotn and rear. I sure do love my Elkas!!!:p

I run 8 lbs in my stock tires mainly because of jumping. Used to run the recomended 5 in them but the fronts would squish to the point of hitting the rim so I went up to 8. Its worked fine to this point. :D

i got holeshots front and rear and i usually run about 10 psi for em all. i think they work great with that.
