The 85 and 86 atc's, and the 86/87 atc used the same swing arm. The 88/89 trx used a swingarm that I belive was and inch shorter, and was made of aluminum.

I believe you ment 86/87 trx but you are right in that they were the same length and 88-89 were 1" shorter. But how long were the 85-87 swingarms in length from end to end. That is something I would like to know if anyone has that info

85-86 swingers (steel) are 19 1/2" from the center of the swingarm bolt to the center of the axle, 88-89 are an inch shorter, aluminum and has 4 pinch bolts opposed to 2 like 85-87

85 has a smaller carrier housing and carrier, both 85-86 use "roughly" 1 1/4 X 2 1/4 squarestock tubing and the only real diffrence is the carriers/housing

also the 86 atcr and trxr used the same swingarm
