what is the highest rpm the motor can take safely, constantly before it starts floating valves and vibrating apart?
i hear a lot about reving higher, what is higher?

depends entirely on the engine

i understand the engine, how its built and parts used matters....
using a stock motor for example, how far can or should i go as far as rpm? theres always a point where the motor CAN go to and where it SHOULD only go to in order to be reliable.

so whats the limit?

The limit is where the factory ignition box is set at. I believe that rpm is like 8500 but I could be wrong.

so lets say it is 8500rpm...installing a bigger cam and a higer rpm limiter which allows it to rev higher, is actually bad for the motor?
