400ex carb. on 300ex

hey i was wundering if anyone has put a 400ex stock carb on a 300ex...cause i have a 300ex and its not quite fast enough for the trails ...but i was wundering if anyone knos if it would screw up anything with my engine or any problems i would have with the conversion b/c i can barley afford my 300 right now b/c i jsut bought a new 250 powerstroke..but i was just wonderin so someone plz help me out if ya can thanks

yes alot of people do it,all you will need is a 350x airboot which you can find most liekly on ebay
