top speed of a 250ex and trailblazer!!!

My brother said that a 250ex goes 47 mph and i read that it goes 51.9 mph and the trailblazer 250 goes 47 mph. I want to prove him wrong and if anybody can get a screen shot of the page on the May isssue of the dirtwheels mag with top speeeds of all the quads i will appreciated it. And if u no of any links where i can print the top speeds of the quads.:mad: I have to prove him wrong!!!!:devil: :mad: :devil: :mad: :macho I made a 10 dollar bet on it!

if im not mistaken, the trail blazer is automatic and alot heavier. if you add those factors in, and thier both 250s i bet the ex is faster.

i used to own a trailblazer 250...i dunno, its alot heavier but its a full automatic 250 2-stroke, vs a much lighter auto clutch 250 4-stroke. i think theyd top out at the same speed.

250ex is faster, i know cause i own the trailblazer and my cousin owns a 250 ex and this summer when we were messing around i pulled the 250 to race him.

well i had a 250 ex i had it on gps at 52.3 my friend has a trail blazer that was piped n all that i still beat him but then we did his with gps n it only did like 47.6 then after i got mine all piped n air filter i got it up to 54.6 needless to say the ex is faster

a trailblazer was my first quad. it had a pipe, clutch kit, filter, jetted, wheels and tires (saves about 7 lbs per wheel vs the stock steel wheels). anywho when i ran it side by side with my dads sportsman with a spedo it would run around 50-55 and the sportsman would just creep away. i smoked my cousins 300ex. we raced 3 times with 3 different riders on it because they thought it was a fluke. a warrior beat me by a few lengths tho.
i have never ridden or raced a 250ex so i cant base that off of anything. stock the 300ex would beat me, modded it didnt. the 250 is probably slower so id say they are about equal. but with those quads ya really dont want to argue speed or power being 97% of everything else is faster/more powerful :p

it would DEFFENTLY not be worth it to put all the time money and labor into putting a manual clutch on a 250ex, spend a few extra dollars and get the 300ex;)

sportsman speedos aren't accurate

also, 1-5mph has a big gap and 55-60 is a smaller gap so that shows how off it is right there too, also, my cousin has a 500 h.o. that he runs the crap out of and it used to only go up to 60 on his speedo but now he says it does 65-70, so the speedo just messed itself up with the amount of hours on it

i can beat warriors on my 300ex but you can smoke a 300ex but a warrior pulls away from you?:huh

actually that was only a few weeks after it had a new spedo put into it. and run beside a truck it showed the same speed but i guess your spedo is the only right one? :rolleyes:

and because you own a 300ex i imagine you think it is the fastest thing out there like most children with quads. but i am not lying, about 30 people witnessed this race. honestly why would i lie about this? i raced them, i won or i lost. i state the facts i am not biased in anyway. how are the riders of the warriors that you are "smoking"? its a given fact the warrior is indeed faster than a 300ex which it rightfully should be. my father, 40+ years riding bikes and operating them so he does know how to ride and shift properly. my uncle, same experience. cousin 10+ years. myself 10 + years. we all raced the 300 vs the trailblazer with the same outcome. and dont say trailblazer rider because its simple to launch that. hold the brake, floor it, when the flag drops let the brake go. but i guess i am lying for the fact of lying? i mean really kid get a grip :rolleyes: :scary:

also, i don't think my 300 is the fastest thing, but who i ride with always wants to race so i line up with them, i'm faster than my friends warrior, i beat it, acceleration and top speed, im faster than my other friends warrior that is modded with pipe, filter, and jets and other stuff, im faster than that acceleration and top speed, my dad has an 87 warrior im faster than it in acceleration, he's faster than me on top speed, i don't think mine is super fast buddy, i've ridden a pretator and a 450r and those ***ers are fast

I dont knwo speeds...but all i can say is.....Trailblazer 250s are SLOOOWWWW after riding my 400ex. and my 400ex is by all means NOT fast.
