Does anyone know if the hot cam stage 2 for the R is a drop in or am i going to have to adjust spings and the instructions say do not use synthetic oils, why is this because I use synthetic.

I just put in the same cam? some people needed to re-shim the valves to tweek the valve lash. I am using GN4 for the break in. I figure run a couple of changes through it before going back to synthetic. Vavle to piston clearance should be fine. Make sure you install the cam at TDC. BTW, mine did not need to be re shimmed. (thank God) Here is a great link that i used for installation.
