Looking to Buy a 400ex

Hey I'm seriously looking at buying a used 400ex. I was wondering if there is anything I should look out for? Any common problems? I want something that is stock or mostly stock.

ummm.... Don't buy a 99' because that was the first year they made them and people were having some problems. Check chain wear to see if they take good of their chain and if they do than usually they take good care of the quad. Test someone's that is in really good shape then test the one u're thinkin about buyin to see if something doesn't feel right. Also bring a friend or sumthin with u that knows alot about quads or atleast a fair amount. Unless u know alot about quads.

Also ask what they've done to it and all of the services it's had. Then see if they can give u a reciept of those.
