I'm looking to find a good color combination for my quad - I have a 400ex and I'm powdercoating almost everything - Frame, mounts, arms, swingarm, hubs. I want to run silver or red laker customs. What good combo's would you suggest?

that will be the only way you can beat me around the track anyway....besides its going to be hard to ride with all your motor mounts falling off when i loosen all the bolts

its really going to suck trying to start your quad up with your wiring harness cut in 23,000 places

I won't do that color combo - I don't think it looks good only because 1. I don't think 400's look good in green plastic and 2. I don't think any of the 3 plastic company's make a good green color so I'm staying with either silver or white plastics - my only choices are what to do with the powdercoating

now that is what I'm talking about - the white plastics and blue frame is my favorite combo of all time but its been done by almost everyone and I wanted to be different so I thought the orange and silver woud be a cool combo - anyone else think so?

that sounds cool,

when I rebuild mine I am thinking about blue plastics (without light holes)

or candy red frame, and glossy black plastics (no headlights)

then I am getting trail tech lights and mount them to the frame

Get a nice day glow orange frame. White plastic. Orange arms. That would be a sweet quad.

That's hoTT.

If you are gonna go with silver plastics I would say a Graphite/Gunmetal color Frame would look great. You're right though every does white and blue and silver and blue. But truely you will be the one that looks at the quad on a daily basis so do it to your likings. Personally I like the Hot pink frame idea, after all real men wear pink, so why not ride it.(inside humor everyone should get it.)

Are those rear number plates sized to fit on the original flat area on the rear fenders? If so where did you get them from?

Here is a pic of the number plate up close, it has keith's phone number. He ships them all over Canada for CMRC motcross guys.
The only template that I now he has is 400ex but he may have more now. They are stickers just like a factory effex graphics kit.
Give him a call and see if he will ship them to you.

Employeeadamonth thanks for that pic.
Jeff's bike is gona look good.
I wiil send that on to him if I can.

Hey Quadworks clutt225's number plates were custom made by a local place called LB graffix. Yes they were made to fit on that area you are describing. The numbers are backprinted on thick clear vinyl so they withstand lots of abuse!
