clutch question

I recently rebuilt my engine, when I put my clutch back in I could see where the veryy last plate was put in from the factory it was turned 1 notch off in the clutch plate from all the other plates so thats how I put it back. is that right?
If not will it hurt anything?

Thats how they come fro mthe factory. You'll be ok.
