been there done that.. they are worth the whole 900 dollars you pay for them... you can adjust from a 100 lb rider to a 200 lb rider in matter of 30 seconds... they ride better than elkas IMO.. easy maintenace.. they look pretty funny.. but you get used to that after one ride.. i dont know of anything bad about them.. id take them over any shock on the market :D

Have you looked at the website? They have a nice online manual that shows all the parts and some diagrams. www.foxracingshox.com

Are these things really $900?

My only question is how durable they are. How do they hold up to different weather and riding conditions. Here in vegas it gets really hot and really dry, will the air seals hold up here. I guess no one will know for at least a year or so. I'll let somone else find out then decided. Definitly a good concept though.

OK yes they are $900
and yes I have seen them and what not
but do they hold up to MX racing?

I guess that is my main question

I just got my set of shox from fox. First let me say that this company creates suspensions for many many applications and this company stands behind its products. The sales people were very helpful and are willing to answer all your questions. Now to handling. These shocks feel bottomless. They have NO rebound. When your front wheels hit the ground they stick. So nice when dropping into a creek from 2-4 feet off the bank. I love this product. Easy to adjust and extremely light.

If this is true, then his shocks seem to demolish all the others out there. His quad just flew through the whoops sections. I know he is sponsered by fox, but is this the shock he is using?

Are there different shocks for different lengths of a-arms and for short and long travel?

In that case, these shocks rock. He was flying through the whoops section in the Phoenix quad wars. Those shocks were amazing. What does he run on the rear.

he runs the normal type shock in the rear that everybody else runs. Im almost positive its a fox on the rear too.

Please don't call it Quad Wars.

Why, that is what it listed it as on my ticket? What do you want me to call it. Pro Quad Stadium Series. What does it matter anyways!
