Help Quick!!

i just put in a high comp kit 11:1, stage 2 hotcam, k and n, and jet kit. it is running really lean even with a 170 jet. ive messed with the air screw a bunch to and can't figure it out. i was wondering if it was because i have stock exhaust?

Did you change the pilot jet too, Or just the main? By all means, Ditch the stock exhaust. If you're looking to get the most out of your exhaust try hmf, or curtis sparks.

i put in a 42 pilot jet too

but is the exhaust the reason that it is running lean

how do you know it's running lean? what throttle position was it at?

i was riding around and it was blowing white smoke and then i checked the plug and it was white two

did you adjust the needle? white smoke is usually condensation or coolant in combustion chamber (obviously not in this case) how long did the smoke last? what was the weather like?

i washed my it right before i started it up so maybe i got some in the exhaust pipe. ill check it out tomorrow after work and let you know

If you just put in a new piston, The smoke you are seeing could be oil smoke. Give the rings a little time to seat and check your spark plug condition.

messed with it today and i guess it was just the water burning but it smoked quite a bit which had me confused
