Has anyone done this? Do you have pics? I know you have to weld brackets/tabs onto your subframe and cut off the old grabbar. What year/s 250r bar did you use?

I know PRM used to sell those type of kits but i looked on there today and now they bolt on with ugly u bolts and you keep your stock bar also.

I used an 88-89 250R here are a few pics I put the front bracket up higher to force the grabbar down a bit. That help to get the 400ex out of the mud. (as everyone know who got stuck the 400 ex is a bit heavy) anymore questions just ask.

ok for some reason the pictures are working now. Did the bar have the bends in it where it bolts to the frame when you got it or did you have to bend them yourself?

I fixed pictures!!

it had the bends in it it was a old PRM the new ones do not have it you do not need the bends in it. That is just what I had laying around to use.

a 300ex bar works great to and you don't have to weld anything. except the nuts on the back if you want but you don't have to
