Need info on a stage 1 hot cam

hey i need some info on stage one hotcams please, 1st question is what do they do?
2nd question if they are in a stock engine will it not be good for the stock engine or should it be taken out and put a stock cam back in or just leave it.
3rd question do they add any power?

a cam will produce more power and the stage 1 will make it come on down low where you need most
get the cam you will be happy with it...trust me
