Trailer Info??

is anyone here from jersey and if so did you buy a trailer from franklin trailers?? if not from jersey, is it the same for every state to register a trailer? what i really need to know is does the place that you buy the trailer from atleast give u a temp tag or something till you can register it?

In Ohio, trailers don't have titles.

Most people around here tow their trailer home and then go visit the BMV.

You must either have a certificate of transfer (from the trailer dealer), an old registration (from the previous owner), or get the trailer weighed (at a truck stop, feed mill, or gravel supply) to get it registered.

Arizona, you have papers either from a dealer or private party to tow it around until you get to the motor vehical department, then go to the motor vehicle and registrer it. AZ has a perm tag for trailers.

they are a dealer , so that means they'll give you the correct info.

I'm in warren county nj
your truck/car ins. policy covers the trailer but you need to inform the ins. co.
