I've heard of people using a kickstarter from something else on their CRF's to make them shorter so you don't need to chop up your rear fender. Does anyone know what one it is???
I saw that Heather Byrd had a billet cool looking one on her CRF.
Thanks

I think I read something about yz250 kickers? Maybe someone else can verify that.

Yep. I use the YZ Kicker on mine with the walsh extension. You might have to grind the back of the kicker where it goes on the spindle to clear the frame...I had to on the Arens.

While were on the subject, what kind of shifter do you guys use? The stock crf shifter is kinda short. Do 450r shifters fit?

mine had a aftermarket shifter, I didn't like it, because it wasn't high enough for my riding boots, I put the stock one on, and later heated a bent the aftermarket one to fit better for me. The reason wy they are so short is because if you adjust it up it rubs the case.

I bought an aftermarket one and then cut it in half and welded a section in the middle to get it to the right length.
