does anyone know if an oem twist throttle off of a yz450f or a wr450 will work on a yfz.......and also do the dirt bikes carbs have the tors

Yes it works. I bought one used, with cables. It was represented as a YZ426F assembly. There might be something slightly different about the return cable on different year YZs. I'd recommend you check with someone that bought their oem twist new to be sure what bike it's from.

No, the bikes don't use TORS since throttle safety is ensured with dual throttle cables.

The oem twist throttle is awesome! It's simple design, cast aluminum housing, and side pull cables make some of the aftermarket ones look like they came from a gumball machine.

This is about $40 more than a Motion Pro, but honestly, I think the OEM assembly is noticeably superior. I recently crashed and my handlebars and controls took a beating. If you position the twist so the cables are routed below the bars, they're perfectly protected when the ATV gets flipped over. I'm not sure you could do that with a MP throttle because of it's bulky design.

BTW-I'm not certain the part numbers below are the same as what's on my ATV now. If you get the throttle cable that I have, you won't have to tap (thread) any holes in the carburetor body since this cable comes with a nut that goes inside the carb.
