he hasnt been convicted of any crime yet. even a us citizen under arrest and charged can vote until he/she has been found guilty. if a person is a felon they lose thier right to vote indeffinatley

Kids these days. LOL never have heard of absentee ballets. You don't have to be present to vote it is that way in america and just about everywhere. Do you think the other 36,000 Iraqis that are in the US right now have to get on a plane on fly back over there to vote NO. If you are going out to town here in the US voting day. Guess what you can still vote. You don't actually have to physically walk into a polling station to cast your vote.

There was no system for absentee voting in Iraq in Sunday's election, though many Iraqis living abroad cast ballots.

According to NBC news last night absentee balets had to be in by last thrusday to be counted. The ones that were in by that time are being counted right now!!!!!!!
