Wanted to see what the stock flex was of my YJ, so I found some dirt piles and checked it out.

I had to brighten this pic, and also, that rear tire is in the air in that pic!

yeah, the stock flex on most leaf spring vehicles (jeeps, yotas, n chevy rears) is usually really good, but you can only flex out with really small tires (depending on vehicle) i have a 4runner on 38.5"s and a 5 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift, and im still surprised at the flex on those arched springs, the front still flexes better than the rear. but yeah dude lift that thing and put some meats on it and you can have some FUN.

Yeah, I was just playin' anyhow. I had a '93 YJ, and I loved that thing. Went a while without one, and just last week bought a 2002 TJ, 4.0. Love them Jeeps!

yeah, once the bug gets you, it gets you BAD, especially with the 4x4 and quad bug at the same time!! heres a HORRIDLY done pic, i tried cleaning it up some, but you can get the general idea, 85 4runner, 38.5" SX's, locked f/r, climbing up a pyramid of 4"x4"s and a couple of my friends at a truck show, the reason the runner looks white is because we went mudding the night before, i was covered, and the sunlight

Tortured Z what are the details on that mofo pleae!!

It's a '86 CJ-7 which came fully loaded from the factory (ie. AC, Cruise control, etc.). The motor and tranny are stock, the transfer case has been reworked and regeared, the axles are Currie Ford 9" high pinion with Detroit lockers front and rear. It has a custom spring over suspension which gives me 61/2" of lift. The rims and tires in the pics are Weld SSR-2 wheels 15X15 and the tires are 35x18x15 Mickey Thompson's. I have 15x10 Weld wheels with 35" Swampers that I use for rock crawling. I have a bunch of other stuff on it just having a brain fart right now.

Right now it's just sitting in the garage waiting for a clutch. My wife welded the clutch together because she likes to rest her foot on the clutch pedal. I should get around to it in a couple of weeks.

Here's a few more pics.
