yeah it is small, but its very fast.they put down coke syrup and confectionary sugar to make it tacky.once the track starts taking rubber it getsEXTREMLY tacky, almost too tacky.but it is a ton of fun

I heard someone tell me that there ISP will not allow access to Neptune before. Maybe thats the problem.... We run 3rd gear here

Cool pics  that looks FUN FUN FUN!!!! I've heard of racing on coke syrup before, but I have one ? how do those knobbies work :huh :huh I think the class C tires would be the best!! Another thing I noticed, hardly anyone is wearing goggles!! Suppose you wouldn't have to but I wouldn't want toi get syrup in my eye LMAO:p :eek2: ;)

Soooo what kind of "components" do you make for flattrack??

clarkymckrash
02-06-2005, 03:02 PM
yeah,i wouldnt miss those 5 indoor races for anything:D its unlike any surface you ride on,super tacky, definetly a workout.

theres no dust or anything so theres no real need for goggles,3 years and ive never been hit with anything.

i dont run knobbies, i run american racers, but knobbies do get the job done in there.all of the outdoor tracks around here make it manditory to run flattrack tires

i mosly make lowering kits and stuff like that, and i help the local kids and stuff with setups, nothing special:rolleyes:

 they work now :D Haha I like the "race face" LOL, thats funny you say that cuz every time I'm sitting in the staging area I probably have that look, I get all serious then give myself a couple hard slaps on the sides of my head....................w/ my helmet on of course ;) & I'm ready to go :D

KC I like your setup!!

Thanks dirtmomma. Home made sway bar and front and rear lowering kits. Durablue dont make em that low.

Do you make/sell the sway bars?? I bought one off of a guy that was homeade but it doesn't work :( it must be twisted cuz every time I come out of the turn it lets loose & look out wall :eek2: :)

Yeah my rear lowering link for my 300 is ALOT lower than the Durablue also I hve none on the front I have it so my shocks have tow brackets right on the a arm that I jsut splay them out for flattrack it gets it pretty damn low :D:D

LMK if you would be interested in making a sway bar for a blaster or YFZ450(that would be the best bet)

I dont think Ill be selling them. A lot of time went into making mine. Ill get some better pics for you though just so you can take a look at the design

it might not be the swaybar making the quad do that, make sure that the links for the swaybar can move freely, any binding willcause the left rear to plant more than the right rear and would cause the push coming off the corner

just a thought:rolleyes:
