anyone use one on an r? bought it about 12 years ago for my tecate-4 but never used it. its a flat slide carb,supposed to be good throttle response carb. its free! any input on this relic? THANKS AHEAD:macho

I used a TMX several years ago. I use the following jets.

15 or 20 pilot, 5EJ12-55 needle middle notch, 390-410 main

Lower jets for summer, larger for winter riding.

its a tmx ,not tm as posted.the main in it is a 360,pilot is 25.just got a 3/8 reed spacer,and it fits perfect !got to wait for terry cable now. what kind of mods you have on that motor? elevation? thanks ahead!:macho

That carb was used on both ported w/cool head 270cc and 330 bolt on kits. The stock cylinder 270 had a Turner pipe, cool head for race fuel, and ported by me. The 330 kit used a slightly different needle and like a 420 main.
