is that the stock shocks? it looks just like the 400ex shocks. is the 400ex using a 15yr. old shock design?:eek:

Yes those are the stock shocks. They are very close to 400ex shocks, same lenght and everything. The 250r shocks have the progressive spring, its where the spring is much closer together up at the top and the 400's arent like that. They might be 20 yrs old but if you ask mme they are better than stock 400 shocks. Free bump also that is a sweet stock R, at a good price. Good luck selling

Yep, that is my Tecate4... About 1 hr after that pic was taken, I got tossed off the beotch at 30+mph!!! Front tire got sucked in the deep soft snow and I couldn't save it... :macho Well, good thing is, snow is soft to land upside down in !!!!! :D The quad didn't move too far from the initial toss. I went about 20 feet. No harm to me or the quad. :devil: Click the link to my webpages for better pics of it.

As for the R shocks, they are not the same lenght as the 400EX shocks. They are actually about an inch shorter. ( I got a set of both sitting here, and chose the R shocks for my 350EX conversion for that reason....they fit better.)

As for trades, he isn't interested in trades. He has too many 250Rs now.....6 of em!! He also has a few other Quads....He buys, sells, builds blah, blah, blah.

thats funny u said that!! last night we went riding and same thing.. my front tires kept hitting soft snow and bam!!!! like 30 to o in a second!!! i took the handlebars to the gut a few times!! lol
