been playing paintball for 9 years now and i have to say my favorite gun on the market is an auto cocker. i shoot a custom Series 5 with an eblade from CCM, wgp makes great guns. stick with the higher end of there line and you will love it. one thing about cockers if it is not broke dont mess with it.

a few sites i have all ways liked Warpig (http://www.warpig.com) ,sacpaintball (http://www.sacpaintball.com) <--west coast info. and pbnation (http://www.pbnation.com) <-- for anything paintball

u dont think a trilogy will be a good speedball gun?

have not used that exeact gun yet i will do some research and get right back to you

ok found out that the trilogy would be a good gun for the tournament or speedball style if you are not looking at making the gun electro or wanting to put any upgrades on it. the three way is built in and most other parts as well so that gun inperticlular is not as upgradable as some other cockers on the market. if you are looking into starting tournaments i would look at one that has the potential to run an electronic frame. Check into chiplys custom machine they make an awsome gun. or the prostock that is made by WGP is also a great gun. if there is a pro shop around your area go in and see what is the most comftable for you.
any other questions let me know

thnx bud:)

I think i'm gonna go with that gun because i really dont play tournaments, and only occasionally play speedball, i just want a gun that is a little more accurate, and can shoot faster than my tippy

then if all you wnat to do is rec ball than i say go for it you cant go wrong. on the BKO issue they are well made but the gun body is real short i never got comfy using one. they are good guns and work well if not for the size. you might want to look at the impulse from smart parts i loved mine for the short time that i had it. has the rate of fire of the timmy or eblade with out the cost. sugest stayign away from the matrix though a fast gun it is very heavy.

if you want a good speedball gun you should get a smartparts impulse with vision they shoot very fast when set up right and they are pretty durable you could probably get a good one off ebay for 600 or less but i dont know how much you wanna spend and also DON T get a BKO they suck my freinds are all big into speedball and one of them bought a bko and it chopped balls like crazy even when he wasnt shooting fast. a good site would be

www.pbreview.com

never heard of the stars and stripes do you have a link???

any speedball gun will chop if not setup right. but bkos are well known for not haveing an eye so there is no anti chop system you can get bolts for them however that will help stop them from choping

i used a bushmaster for speedball and love it. this was about 4 years ago so there outdated by now. i do like the impulse tho a friend bought one and it was light, well ballanced a super fast. i think the cockers with the right player are exellent speedball guns tho. just got to make sure you pull all the way back and completly release the trigger. i was always able to get an exellent rythm going with a cockers trigger.
it also depends on howw you play the field. if you stay to the back a cocker would be great cause they are super acurate and smooth. front runners or flank. your probably going to want somthing light and fast. i.e. electro. hope i helped. played alot in tournys, when i was younger. i will always know what guns i got shot with.:blah:

I have been playing for a couple years now. My friend is a dealer for action markers and he brought out this new gun for us to see.
look here (http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/2179/) I shot it a few times and it was sweet. We were out in the woods and it did great out there, but he also plays speedball. I got hit by it a few times, well more than a few times. It sucks when the people you play with shoot so fast that when you get hit from close range, there are a few more coming after the first one.

Also, if you have a tippmann go here. tippmann forum (http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/2179/)
This is a great paintball forum for every gun. Even though its a tippmann forum, half of them dont even have tippmanns anymore. Its a great place to get information.

angels are great guns as long as you get one at least a speed or newer but be willing to spend some good money.
