Does anyone know if you can go 12:1 comp. on a 300ex with the starter still working - or can I buy a H.O. battery or something? Where can I find a 12:1 + piston that is stock bore? Thanks!

Ya I would not go above 11.1 with a stock rod. With the starter issue, my 11.1 330 definetly slows the starter down a little bit. You can hear it strain to turn the engine over. Sometimes my starter will just stop, and I have to let off the button and hit it again.
