i searched threads but found nothing about elkas fitting on stock 400 arms.

will this work?

and if it does will it sit the bike high in the front and make it look bad

yes u can buy elkas for stock arms. they should be really close to stock length and shouldnt make it sit any higher

Zero preloads will drop the front about 1 1/2" to 2". Great upgrade!

:D stk a-arms with elka triple rate ssd... sits about 2 inches lower then stock...

Thanks alot guys.

I was thinking about the recreational shocks.

Are thos good enough for a trail/ pit rider.

i was thinking about getting into racing next season. My bike stomps Z's in drags so its got the power and will have even more after the HMF im putting on with my tax return money.

So can someone give me some prices and thoguht on the different shocks

I dont really want to call elka haha:devil:

I have the recreational Elkas and they work awesome for the trails. If you raced mx or maybe GNCC you might want ressies. The only downfall to the rec shocks are that you only have a preload adjustment. With the others you also can get compression and rebound. If the shocks are set up right for the type of riding you do they should be good though. I think I paid around $520 or so for mine. The difference between stock and the Elkas is like night and day.

look on ebay and on here for a deal on elkas, someone is always sellin some.

thanks the the idea actually.. i didnt think anything of buying a used shock.. i dont want any worn down that arent going to be better then stock.

and i dont like to deal with ebay
