Idle Problems

Hope someone can help me? I have 02 400ex with yoshi rs-3 exhaust. I just installed a #42 piolet jet. It is ideling really high. I adjusted the idle screw and it doesn't do anything. I have the screw all the way in and its ideling really hight still. I would think that it wouldn't run at all. Can some one please help? Did I install the piolet jet wrong?

make sure you have some play in the throttle lever. if you don't, loosen it up so you have a little bit.

there is some throttle play so i don't think that is the problem.(it has a twist throttle) When it starts up it idles fine but when you give it gas it revs but doesn't go back to idle. its really starting to get on my nerves!!! I think that i will take it to the dealer so they can fix the problem.
